The Division of Community Alternatives oversees the KY Department for Medicaid Service's Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waivers, including the Michelle P Waiver (MPW), the Supports for Community Living Waiver (SCL), the Home and Community Based Waiver (HCB) and others. A person who is disabled or elderly may qualify for a Medicaid Wavier, which provide supports to live independently.
